Docks

docksShelter Bay, the best protected marina in Panama and we believe the entire Caribbean, has over 6000 ft. of dock to fit your needs! Side tie slips for vessel up to 300 ft. with drafts of 22 ft. Wide fair ways and generous slip width make maneuvering easy. Our concrete floating docks are all well rendered to protect your boat. Ample draft to accommodate your needs for all sizes of vessels. In 2014, we inaugurated our dedicated service dock and fuel dock.

Each of our slips is equipped with metered electricity, we provide 60 HZ 120 and 24 volts 50 amp service through out the marina. On A, B, C docks we also provide 100 amps 240 volt service. We can provide 480 volt 150 amp service on A and B docks and in case you need it 208 service is available on B dock and at the service dock. All slips have fresh water, which is free and reasonable amounts.

A big bonus is that our docks are oriented such that the prevailing wind is on the bow or the stern. A and B docks have 30 inches of free board the rest have 18 inches. All our fingers are designed to at 50% of boat length, with cleats for two sets of spring lines. Most of the vessels in the marina rest on their bow/stern lines about a ft. of the dock with fenders hanging idle.
